The most classic finish. Glossy, smooth, easy to apply.

Rich, flat color. No gloss or shine whatsoever.

A matte-metallic finish with texture and and micro-glitter.

Big, easy-to-see sparkle flakes. Glitter polish is textural, for smoother, use a top coat.

The same amount of sparkle as Glitter, but smaller flakes. Best for layering over color.

For nails that twinkle. A base of color and tiny flakes of shimmer mixed into one bottle.

Also known as pearlescent. Icy-toned shine, visible brush strokes.

Tiny rainbow colored flakes in the polish. Best seen in sunlight.

This finish glistens like the inside of a sea shell.

Also called duochrome. Color changes between two or more hues depending on the angle of looking at it.

Shiny, metal-looking finish. Most popular in golds, silvers, and coppers.

A layering polish. Creates a shattered texture look when put on top of another color.

A smooth, almost mirror-like metallic shine.

What makes Julep Nail Polish so great?
Our professional chip-resistant formulation is fast drying and highly pigmented. It is a fun way to make the season’s latest shades accessible to everyone. And because we’ve tested our trend-setting toxin-free nail polish and products in over 100,000 manicures and pedicures in our parlors, we have a good idea of what works and what our clients love.

Julep nail polish is 5-free and vegan-friendly. We steer clear of formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, DBP, camphor, and animal ingredients or byproducts.

Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Stearalkonium Bentonite, Acrylates Copolymer, Silica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Mica, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Black 2 (CI 77266), Benzophenone-1, Trimethylpentanediyl Dibenzoate, Hexanal.

  1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.

  2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.

  3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.

  4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.

  5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

We love it with...

Angela - It Girl is rated 4.2308 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Darker, but still like it I read the reviews and went for it anyhow, and yes, this color is darker than pictured.  However, I like a dark polish because I am fair skinned.  I could see how some might be disappointed, and I think Julep needs to photograph this polish more accurately.  Still a long-wearing, two coat, pretty color (to me).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mystical Mermaid Color! I love this color, very unique! It reminds me of a mystical mermaid. The color goes on great, full coverage with two coats. I found the color really closely matches the swatch of this color on the hands. It can look darker in lower lights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE it but nothing like the swatch! Love this color, it is definitely much darker than the swatch. Also like many people said it is like it has two color tones. That deep sea blue and purple. I love this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful But Dark! Angela is a really beautiful color, but don't expect to get what's shown in the pictures here. It looks MUCH darker on the nail, and even in the bottle. The most accurate color comparison I could find is the helmets for the Philadelphia Eagles, funny enough. Also, in the bottle it has a pretty teal/purple duochrome effect but the purple only shows up in very specific lighting. Overall it's a great polish, it just doesn't match the photos.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love this color I love how this color shifts from the green/blue to almost a purple dependent on the light source.
