Designer Sporting Goods: Would You?

by Erica Stolman | 2 Comments

A few weeks ago we decided to see how you all felt about “designer zarfs aka coffee sleeves. You can usually grab one free of charge at your local coffee shop, but for some reason people are spending the big bucks on designer versions (and by big bucks, we mean upward of $100). Crazy, right?

It got us thinking… how much would people really pay for an everyday item with a designer logo? We did some research, and it looks like designers love slapping their logo on just about anything and everything… sporting goods included. It may be unnecessary & be over-the-top expensive, but we can’t deny the fact that some of these items are actually pretty cool.

If you had the funds, which one of the below items (if any) would you own?

designer fitness gear

  1. Cynthia Rowley Wetsuit
  2. Henri Bendel Ping Pong Set
  3. Chanel Dumbbells
  4. Louis Vuitton Tennis Racket Bag
  5. Vintage Louis Vuitton Soccer Ball
  6. Fendi Bicycle
  7. Marc Jacobs Surfboards

Wow! I grew up in Cardiff by the sea for 10 years!! Small world and one of my favorite little towns!! As much as I tried surfing, I never was able to get fully into it , but I love #6 the bicycle was the one thing that got me out and about to enjoy the beauties of everything in Cardiff 😉
