We're SO excited to bring Vivien (Classic with a Twist) back into rotation. The Champagne bubble full-coverage glitter perfectly punctuates this minute's color blocking trend. Why? Gold matches everything.

How did you know just want I wanted?
No, seriously; it’s a little eerie.

  • Dori Kohler

what color lipstick is that model wearing up top? please tell me it’s a julep product, because it’s seriously pretty.

    • Susan Forest-Rode

I was just going to ask the same thing.

    • Susan Forest-Rode

It’s in the Mini Lipstick Trio – Dancing. It’s called Beau. I have the trio and it’s awesome. One color is a little too dark for me but the other two are fantastic, smooth, soft, bright, and long lasting. Love them.

    • Susan is right. It’s the Mini Lipstick Trio – Dancing, but rather than Beau, it’s actually Heartbreaker! If that’s the one that’s a little too dark for Susan, maybe a swap is in order??

      • p.s. I should mention the Dancing trio is sold out. 🙁
But there’s a rumor floating around the office that we’ll release them again as full-sized individuals because they were so popular. Shhh – You didn’t hear it from me! Also it’s still very much in rumor phase…..

        • Dori Kohler

lol oh no! well thank you, ladies! i will make a note of that and keep my eye out for it!

        • Susan Forest-Rode

PLEASE. These are the best lipsticks I’ve tried in a long, long time. Got lots of compliments on Siren when I wore it over Christmas when I was in Canada. If that’s Heartbreaker then I shall try it but it looks fabulous on her.

      • Beau is awesome! I bought the trio for Xmas as a gift but got her something else instead at the last minute. I scored because I never imagined I would love two of these colors so much!
The last is too dark. That’s ok my friend loved it so I gave it to her.
I have incredibly fair skin with the red undertones. It’s hard to find a dark/red lipstick that’s actually flattering. Plus I am on the small side for lips

  • Susan Forest-Rode

How close is Brandis to Lena? They look almost identical without the sparkle of Lena. Wish you’d make a blue Turquoise.

    • That’s a great question. They’re similar, but yes Lena definitely has that awesome gold shimmer, while Brandis is straight opaque créme. Color wise, I think Brandis is a touch lighter, and a touch more green than Lena.

Re: blue turquoise… Let me just say there’s a lot in the pipeline. 🙂

      • Karina Arguello

Agh I forgot about lena. Idk how either since I have like 5 of them lol but I thought they looked very different. I guess we will find out.

        • Susan Forest-Rode

Please share on the review page when you get Brandis. I have soooo many polishes. I think I’ll wait on this one and get something different this time. But I’ll wait for the reviews before deciding.

      • Susan Forest-Rode

Thank you! Cannot wait. (Still hoping for that perfect glittery turquoise for December birthday babes.)

  • Rebecca Greene

What made you choose Afterglow for the collection name?

    • Great question! Thanks for asking. A lot of thought goes into our collection name each month. We talk about the mood of the colors, the products, and what’s happening out in the world of our Mavens (which includes our own worlds—we’re Mavens too!). Releasing two products dedicated to more glowy skin in a month that still has more night than day, it boiled down to this definition:

      af·ter·glow
      ˈaftərˌɡlō/
light or radiance that remains after the sun has set.

Basically in unison we were all like “yesssssss.” And the Afterglow Collection was born. =)

  • Cathy Olsen

I have the Oxygen Performance top coat, and the Freedom Polymer top coat. What is the difference and do I use them separately or together? If together, which goes first?

    • Rebecca Greene

Use them separately. Freedom was released first and was more for protecting and extending the life of your mani, and Oxygen Performance (which is relatively new) is supposed to be more breathable (and yes, your nails need air too) so it is better for your nails.

    • I feel like they serve different purposes as top coats. Oxygen Performance is more of a mani-protecting top coat, and Freedom is the instant gratification top coat. I use Freedom on Friday nights when I’m in a hurry to finish my nails and get out the door. It dries crazy fast, and sooooo shiny. I have a bangin’ glossy mani all night. Freedom does have a bit of shrinkage though so it’s not great for long term. That’s where Oxygen Performance comes in. Hope this helps!

  • Chara Green

Is it possible to swap the red color (Karissa) with the new pink (Carla) in the smitten kitten pack?

  • Michelle Braun

I love the lip gloss formulas, and I was wondering how different vivid and posh are? Also, how prominent is the glitter in vivid, and is it visible on your lips? I’m between fair and light with pink undertones, and I loveee bright/vampy lippies, but I don’t want it to make me look even more pale, lol.

    • Hi Michelle!
I find Vivid not quite as sheer as Posh, but definitely not opaque. As for the shimmer, it’s sooo yummy (and I’m not talking about taste!). It doesn’t jump from your lips, it just catches light in a beautiful way. Vivid is the first in our Julep Lip Gloss lineup with that particular iridescent shimmer. I hope it’s a hit because I personally would love to see a bunch more.
As far as looking more pale… Well that would just make your awesome lipgloss stand out more. #win

      • Michelle Braun

Haha, thanks! I was hoping that’s how the glitter was. Can’t wait to get it in a couple of weeks!! 🙂

  • Leisha11

So glad I jumped on it early and chose my February Maven box and add-on’s. A friend of mine told me there were a lot of items that sold out on the 2nd day.

Also, can someone please explain to me how there are some ppl selling Hartleigh already on eBay??? The February Maven boxes haven’t even shipped out yet!!

  • Will we receive a brush with the powder?

  • Krista S

I ordered Illume eye brightener in pink as an add-on to my box and got “rise & shine”. Is this the actual name for pink? It is confusing to me and I don’t know if I got the correct color.
