If you’ve been following New York Fashion Week, you probably saw Trina Turk’s stunning Spring/Summer 2015 designs walking down the runway on Friday. They were hard to miss, after all—with so many neon colors, vibrant patterns, and playful accessories, this collection is like sunshine in fashion form.
And if you looked a little closer, you may have noticed the models were sporting cheerful floral manicures and bright pedicures to match … provided by Julep! Our team had such a blast behind the scenes at the runway show, providing the finishing touches to Trina Turk’s truly spectacular designs.
Trina and her team chose four Julep shades to create their S/S 2015 nail looks: Princess Grace (It Girl), our rich papaya crème, and Jeanne (Boho Glam), our jet-set blue crème, were the main shades, with Sydney (Bombshell), our red orange crème available at Sephora, and Brigitte (Classic with a Twist), our bright white crème, as accent colors for the floral nail art.
The inspiration for the nail look was California fresh: a girl going to the flower market, exploring all its lush blooms and vibrant colors. The nails definitely fit the fun, urban vibe of the collection. And the stacks upon stacks of drool-worthy accessories!
The ladies had a mix of Jeanne and Princess Grace on hands and toes, with a floral accent nail selected at random so no two manis were the same. And even the guys got in on the fun! Each male model sported a single floral accent nail and a clear top coat on the rest of his nails.
Thanks to Trina Turk and her amazing team for having us! Such a fun and beauty-full day from start to finish.
