If a wedding is in your near future, chances are your days are spent planning out every last little detail for your big day. I haven’t been married myself, but I am well aware that wedding planning can be time consuming, and extremely stressful. Let me help ease some of that stress and introduce you to your new wedding planner, Pinterest! Clear your calendar and set up an appointment with your computer, because it is time to get some creative wedding inspiration!
I have compiled 10 of my personal favorite, and original wedding pins that will make your big day a dream come true (as it should be).
Pin #1: Haven’t yet found your “something blue“? This pin shows a dress embroidered with the date of the big day on the inside of the gown in blue thread. What a cute & creative idea!!
Pin #2: Who says bridesmaids all need to match? This adorable pin shows a variety of beautiful, yet muted, shades- perfect for your all of your best friends standing next to you at the altar!
Pin #3: One creative couple directed their guests to choose a seat, rather than a side, on a framed chalkboard. Not only is this incredibly sweet, but also so easy to do! Check out this framed chalkboard DIY & make your very own.
Pin #4: What a perfect idea for a beach wedding, direct your guests to their table with a sweet message in a bottle.
Pin #5: Mason jars are all the rage these days, and they will look fabulous when filled with babies breath and placed on the back of your guests chairs. This could be an easy & fun DIY project for you and all your bridesmaids!
Pin #6: Before the reception, offer your guests sunglasses, so that they aren’t “blinded by the love” between you and your new husband. Everyone loves a party favor, plus they will make for some really fun photos.
Pin #7: With just a little chalkboard paint, you can turn some boring plastic cups into a fun way for guests to personalize their drinks. Not only will people be in awe of your creativity, but you will also be encouraging your guests to hold onto their cups- thus saving plastic & money!
Pin #8: Cupcakes and macaroons are great, but personalized bride & groom cake-pops are even better! These individual treats will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth, and put a smile on their faces.
Pin #9: Instead of asking your guests to throw rice upon your departure from your wedding reception, set sparklers at each table for a cleaner and more beautiful way to see you off! Added plus, you won’t have to pick rice out of your hair later in the evening.
Pin #10: Add some fabulous flair to your wedding bouquet with a vintage brooch from your grandmother. Not only is this a beautiful way to upgrade your arrangement, but you will also have your “something borrowed” taken care of.
