Trina Turk Fall 2012

Today was the exciting reveal of Trina Turk’s Fall 2012 collection.  Featuring bold geometric designs and mixing of prints (think dots with stripes with houndstooth!), this collection was inspired by the Bauhaus art movement that thrived in Germany in the 1920s. Julep has paired up with Trina in the past to create her namesake deep aubergine polish, and we were lucky enough to be involved in the unveiling of her fabulous Fall 2012 collection!  The manicures featured colors that complemented Trina’s designs and enhanced the geometric patterns found in her designs.

Check out that half-moon accent nail! This is an easy and versatile nail design – you can do it with literally any combination of colors! This model is sporting a dark mani in Marisa with a splash of January and Johnny on her ring finger.

Love the chunky enamel bangles! This model is wearing mustard yellow Stella and January for her red half-moon accent nail. The red lips, bracelet and nail really pull the look together – oh, the power of accessories!

A hatless Trina poses with her nine beautiful models in New York City for the Fall Editor Preview.

NYC Beauty Blogger from Sicka Than Average stopped by the preview and shared her experiences and impressions on the collection and Julep’s manicures here.

What do you think of Trina Turk’s Fall 2012 collection?

I just wanted to say that I love the Julep boxes. I just received one in the mail today. I wanted to let you know that I am a Youtuber and I did a video on my box, and on why they should get a box.
