When Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat on a Montgomery bus in 1955, she had no idea that her brave act of defiance would help fuel the Civil Rights Movement and inspire countless men and women.  She was just tired of giving up, and giving in to a prejudiced, unjust system.

This month we honor Rosa (February 4, 1913 – October 24, 2005) with this gorgeous amethyst shade for her strength, courage, and spirit. She continues to inspire people the world over. May her memory live on forever.
