  • Graphite Silver Suede Nail Polish
  • Thumbnail Dollop Of Graphite Silver Suede Nail Polish

The most classic finish. Glossy, smooth, easy to apply.

Rich, flat color. No gloss or shine whatsoever.

A matte-metallic finish with texture and and micro-glitter.

Big, easy-to-see sparkle flakes. Glitter polish is textural, for smoother, use a top coat.

The same amount of sparkle as Glitter, but smaller flakes. Best for layering over color.

For nails that twinkle. A base of color and tiny flakes of shimmer mixed into one bottle.

Also known as pearlescent. Icy-toned shine, visible brush strokes.

Tiny rainbow colored flakes in the polish. Best seen in sunlight.

This finish glistens like the inside of a sea shell.

Also called duochrome. Color changes between two or more hues depending on the angle of looking at it.

Shiny, metal-looking finish. Most popular in golds, silvers, and coppers.

A layering polish. Creates a shattered texture look when put on top of another color.

A smooth, almost mirror-like metallic shine.

  1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.

  2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.

  3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.

  4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.

  5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

We love it with...

Brit - Classic with a Twist is rated 2.8333 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dreamy Matte Polish I absolutely love this polish! I typically gravitate to greys/ silvers/ blacks so was instantly mesmerized with the thought of a matte polish in the same colour palette. I found the application was decent, and I loved being able to tell when my nails were dry due to the matte finish. Unlike others who experienced chipping, I found this wore well but saw tip wear (where tips ended up becoming glossy due to the finish rubbing off). Due to not putting top coat on I expected this to occur, and it seemed reasonable considering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely love this Matte Polish! I just got this in the mail a few days ago, I was iffy about it because of some of the reviews. However I needed to know for myself... I applied the night I got it and went to sleep shortly after. It dried very quickly and I woke up to a flawless matte manicure. No chipping had occurred. The real test was later at work. I work retail... go backs and ringing customers are the death of my manicures always! But I made it through a whole shift with no chipping whatsoever! I've had it on for a few days now and no chipping yet but there is some wear on the tips, but this isn't uncommon for me. I used a base coat and followed up with two coats of Brit... Probably going to be a go-to for me from here on out! I love it! It's everything I hoped it would be :D

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This is an absolutely beautiful color, a matte gray-silver. The only problem is that it chipped HORRIBLY!! I painted my nails with it one evening and used a base & top coat. My nails had plenty of time to dry before I went to bed. I woke up in the morning and most of my nails had huge chips of polish missing! This baffles me because I can't imagine that I did anything active with my hands while I slept. I covered the chips with more nail polish before I had to leave for work so that my nails wouldn't look terrible that day, but they continued to chip throughout the day. This is my first matte nail polish from Julep so I don't know if I got a bad bottle or if all of their matte polishes have this problem. The other Julep polishes that I've used have been awesome, just not this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I love this color, but it chips SO BADLY This color is FAB! And I love the matte finish to it. It looks so badass. But it literally chips within hours. It makes me sad, cuz I would wear this color all the time!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty when used with top coat I'm not sure why I continue to buy matte/suede finishes. I never like them, but I keep wanting to like them. Brit is a pretty color, but only when I added a top coat. I didn't like the suede finish at all. Also the color seemed to dry very fast (or at least get sticky) so when I tried to go over with another coat it took the first coat off in places. My review for Minka is the exact same as this.
