The most classic finish. Glossy, smooth, easy to apply.

Rich, flat color. No gloss or shine whatsoever.

A matte-metallic finish with texture and and micro-glitter.

Big, easy-to-see sparkle flakes. Glitter polish is textural, for smoother, use a top coat.

The same amount of sparkle as Glitter, but smaller flakes. Best for layering over color.

For nails that twinkle. A base of color and tiny flakes of shimmer mixed into one bottle.

Also known as pearlescent. Icy-toned shine, visible brush strokes.

Tiny rainbow colored flakes in the polish. Best seen in sunlight.

This finish glistens like the inside of a sea shell.

Also called duochrome. Color changes between two or more hues depending on the angle of looking at it.

Shiny, metal-looking finish. Most popular in golds, silvers, and coppers.

A layering polish. Creates a shattered texture look when put on top of another color.

A smooth, almost mirror-like metallic shine.

"Coco makes me think of luxury, power, and sophistication." -Maribeth, Sneak Peek Maven

"Coco is one of those rare, versatile dark shades that I can imagine wearing all year round… it’s so elegant and sophisticated. Darker reds can be notoriously difficult to apply evenly but I got great coverage in just one coat!" -Savannah, Sneak Peek Maven

"Coco is a rich, deep color with a glamorous vintage feel." -Vickie, Sneak Peek Maven

What makes Julep Nail Polish so great?
Our professional chip-resistant formulation is fast drying and highly pigmented. It is a fun way to make the season’s latest shades accessible to everyone. And because we’ve tested our trend-setting toxin-free nail polish and products in over 100,000 manicures and pedicures in our parlors, we have a good idea of what works and what our clients love.

Julep nail polish is 5-free and vegan-friendly. We steer clear of formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, DBP, camphor, and animal ingredients or byproducts.

Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/ Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Stearalkonium Bentonite, Acrylates Copolymer, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Benzophenone-1, Silica, Trimethylpentanediyl Dibenzoate, Black 2 (CI 77266), Iron Oxide (CI 77491), Hexanal, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891).

  1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.

  2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.

  3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.

  4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.

  5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

Coco - It Girl is rated 4.1765 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great deep red shade! I jokingly bought this because my mom's nickname was "coco" as a child. I planned on giving it to her but fell in love with the color and the fact that one coat did the job. It is such a beautiful color for the fall and for a date night year round. Needless to say I never gave it to my mom- sorry mom!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Deep Red Coco is the perfect dark red. It doesn't look black, brown, orange, or pink. Not too bright of a red. Just vintage and beautiful. The consistency is fine, a bit thick but I have become use to a thicker consistency.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Probably one of my favorite colors ever! Looks more brown in the picture here, but it's definitely a deep reddish brown. Very pretty and my go-to fall color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my favorite Colors! I LOVE this color, its one of my favorite polishes in my collection. The color online reflects its real color really well. The first coat looks like it might not turn out well and give full coverage, but after the second coat is on it looks amazing. A great 20's inspired deep red.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous color, but a tip: two coats! I got my welcome Maven box today and this color was in it. I was really excited to try it out because it looked gorgeous through the bottle and I was pleased to find that with two coats it was the exact same color. One coat was fine, but I hate to see streaks in my nails so I applied two. I am very pleased, this color is amazing.
