We love it with...

Rated 4 out of 5 by LG_0001 from Amazing color! It did have a slightly thin consistency but I had no problem working with it. I love this color it it is a beautiful orange and in some lighting looks kind of coral. It dried super fast for me but that is because I use a quick drying top coat and Julep's Ta Da quick drying drops. I made an awesome manicure with Cody and used Shoshanna as an accent nail. I will try to attach a photo but sometimes it doesn't attach on here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AshleyAutumn from takes 2-3 coats but... This is a really pretty color! I used it with “Camille" and it looks great. Took about 10 minutes to dry, and I had to apply 3 coats on almost all of my nails Which is why it gets 4 stars. But over all I like the color a lot so there isn't a lot to complain about.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kali from Horrible I have literally hundreds of bottles of polish & paint my nails 2-4times a week. I've got cheap polishes & expensive polishes. I have Never encountered anything like what I experienced with this polish. Usually, thin polish is a good thing. With a light touch its easy to work with & multiple thin coats dry faster than fewer thick coats. When I opened the bottle this polish was so thin, it was like trying to paint with water. The brush is very small, which means more strokes to cover the nail which means more chances for air bubbles, streaks, or uneven application. Still, I've worked with smaller brushes so I wasn't too worried. Somehow, despite how thin this brush is, it managed to pick up so much polish that even after scrapping both sides of the brush off on the edge of the bottle, the water thin actually dripped on my table before I got it to my nail. I found I had to scrape off both sides of the brush twice to prevent that. Well ok, so I have to be very careful with how much polish I'm picking up, and be very careful with how I apply the polish. I adjusted my technique and went about painting my toes. The first day, I couldn't seem to get the polish to dry & woke up to a mess. I thought perhaps I'd gone to bed too soon or hadn't waited long enough between coats. So I tried again yesterday. This time, I waited 30-45minutes between coats, when I usually only wait a few minutes. I waited a full hour before applying a glitter I've used before over top. It was more than 3hours later when I finally went to bed, without even applying a top coat. I woke up this morning to wrinkled polish. I decided rather than do it all over again, I'd use a light file to even out the ridges & just try to repair what I had. Until I quickly realized the polish Still wasn't hard! The glitter I'd used on top was dry, but the two coats of julep "cody" underneath were still soft!! I was actually able to wipe all of the polish off by hand without polish remover more than 12 hours after I'd finished painting! I still can't hardly believe it. I should add, the polish is no longer super thin, like all polishes, it thickens with exposure to air. But despite closing the bottle tightly immediately after use (I'm paranoid about spills so I'm very careful about that) its already thicker than other polishes I've used a dozen times. I am only grateful I didn't spend money on this polish & got it in my welcome box. I haven't used the other shades yet, so I'm hoping that maybe it was just this bottle, but I'm not really excited to try the other shades because I don't want to spend three days trying to get a pedi or mani finished properly. I can't believe they charge $14 for a tiny little bottle of such awful polish. I've got polish I spent a dollar on per bottle that behaves better than this. I have never experienced such a horrible polish. Maybe I just got a bad bottle, but what I got wasn't worth the $2 I spent on shipping.

Rated 3 out of 5 by inedible_ginger from Pretty Color but a little Weird Consistency Loving the creme-cantaloupe hue, it's definitely not flat 'orange' or even really coral, is something lighter and crisper, a little more yellow-pink if that makes sense. Definitely a little tropical without being too Easter-egg seeming. The consistency, though, is a little weird. My first spin with this I applied it over sheer OPI polish (I was lazy and didn't want to polish-change). At first, it went on relatively streakless and smooth, but thin. Like 2-3 coats sort of thin (which is fine) - but I realized though the nails felt dry, like one of the other reviewers for Cody, my nails smooshed hardcore the moment any pressure was applied, Even hours later. Thankfully, I think that's not necessarily the polish but the UNDER polish reacting poorly with the chemicals in Julep polishes. Without a basecoat on clean nails, 2 coats looks lovely on all but my most problem of nails (ridges, really, really big ridges, it's never smooth) where three coats still matches color and offers a smoother line. It -is- really thin, and there are some patches if I really look hard, but it's a kicky, fun color and I still think it's worth it.
