The most classic finish. Glossy, smooth, easy to apply.

Rich, flat color. No gloss or shine whatsoever.

A matte-metallic finish with texture and and micro-glitter.

Big, easy-to-see sparkle flakes. Glitter polish is textural, for smoother, use a top coat.

The same amount of sparkle as Glitter, but smaller flakes. Best for layering over color.

For nails that twinkle. A base of color and tiny flakes of shimmer mixed into one bottle.

Also known as pearlescent. Icy-toned shine, visible brush strokes.

Tiny rainbow colored flakes in the polish. Best seen in sunlight.

This finish glistens like the inside of a sea shell.

Also called duochrome. Color changes between two or more hues depending on the angle of looking at it.

Shiny, metal-looking finish. Most popular in golds, silvers, and coppers.

A layering polish. Creates a shattered texture look when put on top of another color.

A smooth, almost mirror-like metallic shine.

  1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.

  2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.

  3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.

  4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.

  5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the greatest Julep polishes of all time! This is by far one of my favourite Julep polishes I've ever received. The photos on the website cannot do it justice! It is a beautiful shade of purple with a gold shimmer to it; It's like raw silk in a bottle. A must have.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Julia is great with other colors Julia is more of a super fine microglitter in an orchid jelly base than it is metallic That said it is very beautiful but it does require three coats to achieve full coverage Dont let the picture of this one deceive you Julia looks nothing like this picture when it is on your nails The consistency of this polish is a little on the thin side which is absolutely perfect for working with Julia is best served as a top dressing for a coordinating not contrasting color such as a rich black like Brandt or a smoky violet creme like Charlotte

Rated 5 out of 5 by from By far my favorite Julep color I love the concept of glitter but most glitter polish is clear with specks of glitter which requires an undercoat of a different color And most glitter polish is really hard to remove Those of you who have spent endless minutes rubbing your nails to get the glitter off know what Im talking about This polish goes on smooth not bumpy like other glitter polishes it is a full coverage color doesnt require an undercoat and has an amazing quality of appearing different colors in different light This polish truly goes with everything Pretty sparkly yet understated and not garish I hope Julep comes out with more colors like this one

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glittery Perfection! I adore Julia! This color is so pretty to look at, I couldn't take my eyes off of my hands! It took me three coats to reach an opacity level I was happy with (some people may have gone for a fourth coat but I didn't want to waste polish.) The glitter in this is AMAZING though. It's sooo pretty in the light. When you look at it in the bottle you almost can't tell what the base color is, but when it's on your nails and you're looking at it in the light you can see the layers of glitter and purple. Not a color to miss out on!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great flash without teeth gnashing during removal! I ordered this color as an add on to my first Maven box and I'm so glad I did.  This formula is so versatile; it can act as a top coat to embellish another color or can act as a stand alone polish with different effects depending on how many coats you use.  I really appreciate that this one product can do so many things.  The formula is smooth, easy to apply and easy to remove while still giving me the satisfaction of a glitter polish.
