Rated 5 out of 5 by Budgiebee from Life Changer for Me! I'm 64, light skinned, wrinkled around the lips. I haven't been able to wear lipstick for years due to extreme feathering. To top it off, my lips have all but disappeared. This is a dream come true for me! I have used it with the cheapest of lipsticks and very costly lipstick and my lipstick stays where it should stay, absolutely no feathering whatsoever! Yes, it was hard to get the cap off, but I got it off. Yes, the tip broke, but I think I pressed too hard. However, I used my Julep sharpener which worked like a charm. So far the reviews aren't the most favorable. Therefore, I am feeling I better stock up while it is available and my budget allows. I absolutely love it. Now my tiny little lips have color that lasts and stays where it ought to! Thank you Julep!

Rated 5 out of 5 by brittney969 from Makes a great lipstick primer I have started using this liner daily in place of a lip primer. Instead of just lining my lips, I apply it over the entire lip. I don't know exactly how to describe the texture... kind of sticky? But not sticky in a my-hair-keeps-getting-stuck-in-my-lip-gloss kind of way. More of a tacky base that really helps grip the lipstick you apply on top of it. A lot of the complaints I noticed in other reviews were that the lip liner was too soft. I do agree that it's soft, but for my purposes, that's actually a good quality, since I completely fill in my lips with the liner. Other complaints were that it's hard to sharpen it to a fine point. Once again, the wider tip is more preferable to me for filling in the entire lip anyway. If you're looking to only use it as a liner, you may be dissatisfied, but I love the product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by llynn from Disappointed I was really stoked to try this but super disappointed. Like others say, the cap was really hard to remove and the top of the liner went flying off when I did. The formula was really soft, in a not great way. Difficult to sharpen back to a point - but putting it in the fridge may help that. However, I like to pull my tools and products from my make-up kit to apply - I don't want to have to run to the kitchen for the lipliner. I manage to apply it and didn't notice any poor taste or anything but I did have lip color smudging within an hour of application. I really wanted this to work but I think it was an all around fail and I wish I'd not subbed out a polish in my Maven box to try it - polish never disappoints me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Genevieve from My favorite lip liner. I am surprised at the negative reviews. I love this product. I did not have any problem removing the cap. The soft texture of the pencil lines my lips without dragging and pulling and since it's invisible, it's like a primer around your lips. Also got one for my 22 year old daughter who likes bold lipstick colors and she loves that it helps keep the the lip line precise. Just ordered another one as a swap in this month's Maven box.
