Rated 4 out of 5 by reynedrop from Good for what it is! It's an OIL, not a humectant! For what this is, this is a good product. This is a lip oil with a base of light to medium oils (mostly grapeseed). It imparts a very subtle tint, and because it's so subtle, I don't think it could truly clash with differing skin tones. It still lets your natural lip color shine through. It does look very glossy, but there is absolutely no stickiness, which makes this a huge win for when I want that glossy look but I don't want to deal with my hair (and everything I eat) sticking to my gloss (yuck). Now, onto "what it does." If this dries your lips out, it's most likely because your lips do not have enough moisture inside them to begin with. This is an oil products, which acts as an occlusive. It will help keep moisture already in your lips. However, it's *not* a humectant. It won't draw moisture back INTO your lips. If your lips are severely dehydrated, you need a humectant to fix them. This is really good for me personally, as my issue is not internal moisture but a lack of natural oils to hold the moisture in. Now, if you know that occlusive products (other oils) tend to work well for you but this doesn't, the issue may be a sensitivity. If you have a sensitivity to fragrance or dyes, that can also cause a reaction that might mimics dryness/chapped lips. I personally didn't find the scent offensive, but it definitely has a fragrance. The only major issue I have with this product is that you have to open it up very, very slowly. The lid and applicator form a seal around the opening of the product- it's a very liquidy oil, so without that, the oil would go everywhere- but if you don't pull the applicator out slowly, you might break it. Hence, 4 stars instead of 5.

Rated 2 out of 5 by zenitshu from It needs to be reevaluated the first time I opened it I had to struggle to pull the wand out. when the wand out, the tip came off inside because the plastic opening was too small to let the tip slide out. I had to take off the plastic top and cut the opening bigger to have the tip slide in and out easier. I also had to fish out the nib that was swimming in the oil with a tweezers and put it back on the wand. it is very messy. the colour also wasn't concentrated enough to give a nice hint of colour on the lips unless you want to pile on 5 layers. it ended up more like a clear oil. it is also a runnier consistency than other lip oil tint I've ever tried. I was very disappointed with the packaging and the colour payoff considering the price of the item. My advice is to not buy it until they fix the packaging problem and upgrade the formula.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jennifersandberg from Surprisingly disappointed I received all three tinted oils with my box. I used red the first day and I didn't like the lemon taste. I found it dries my lips out a lot. My least favorite thing is how badly it bleeds. After about a half hour it felt dried out and it looked like I did a bad job of applying lipstick. The oil bled far past my lip lines and I looked like a kid with kool aid face. I have used it for about five days with the same result. I finally had to use chapstick since my lips dried out so much. I love everything I've tried so I was surprised to be disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Maggie927362829 from I really wanted to love this. I have been using this for two days and my lips have never been drier. I really really wanted to love this because the color is sheer but has major staying power and it smells amazing. It's defiently worth trying and using as a lip stain but I would not suggest using this to heal chapped lips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by txm0mcat from lip lover This is more like a lip treatment then a gloss. I really like it. It adds just a hint of color. The oil sort of dissipates after several minutes but the tint stays and my lips stay soft and moist for the rest of the day.
