Color Description

Oxblood satin

What it is

Breathable nail color—Color Treat is no ordinary nail polish.

Color description:
Oxblood satin

What it is:
Breakthrough Oxygen Technology powers this fast-drying, long-lasting nail polish to get nails healthy and more beautiful at the same time. Our proprietary 5-free, vegan-friendly formula also includes strengthening Hexanal and antioxidant green coffee extract. You'll never look at nail polish the same way again.

What it does:
  • Dries ultra fast & allows 30% more oxygen to permeate the nail bed than other nail polish
  • Reveals stronger, harder & more conditioned nails in just two weeks (reported by 95% of women in an independent trial)
  • Extends the life of your manicure or pedicure
  • Why we love it

    1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.

    2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.

    3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.

    4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.

    5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Oxblood color Just received this in my Maven box. First off I'd like to say that I love the color. A lot of my darker polishes get too deep after 2 coats and just end up looking black but this keeps its oxblood color nicely. True, it isn't super matte, but it does say "satin" finish, which in my opinion is not supposed to be super matte anyway. One star off for being a little thick/gloopy sometimes, but overall I like this polish.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great color I really like it but its kinda chunky and clumps when you apply it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my new fall favorite! I love this color! I was really excited, but a little nervous it would look like leather, which I'm not that into... However, it's fantastic. Although you could get away with one coat, I did this for a day and had a lot of chipping, so I applied another coat, which makes it darker. One coat and it's pretty true to color online. With two coats, it's a little darker, and more like a chocolatey-red color. I used it with Ana on top, and it's very nice. I'm looking forward to a lot of fall combos with this color. It's very trendy, but still classic (chic, in my opinion). With two coats, I've had it on for 4 days, no chipping (no top coat... I don't have a matte top coat)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Fall!!! This color is extremely opaque, which i love in a nail polish. This color is such a show stopper! All of my friends wonder where i found such a gorgeous fall color!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pretty blood red! <3 I really love this color. It's a true "blood red" perfect for halloween and fall! I love the formula too.. its really easy to work with - not gloopy or too thin. You could get away with one coat, but I did two thinner coats for more even coverage. I agree with other reviewers that the "satin" finish is lacking with this polish.. I expected it to be more demi-matte when it dried but it just looks like a regular polish with a little less gloss. Overall though, I think the color is beautiful and will have lots of fun with it for Halloween! :)
