Rated 5 out of 5 by Miriomnibus from magic nail and cuticle serum I was looking for the new nail products that have opposite ends at the bottom of the nail product for pushing the cuticles on either hand back since the old type make it hard to use on the opposite hand and happened upon this for the meanwhile. I am pleased as punch for this lovely pen that has the magic nail and cuticle serum in it so it will take the place of the bottle of cuticle product that make for a very easy way to put on every night after my bath. It's done wonders for my nails and according to my manicurist is what's getting my nail so much stronger than they were! I HIGHLY recommend this product! It's easy to use and has the right amount of product released as you push on the end of the pen

Rated 4 out of 5 by DaniG from Amazing on bare nails I have never purchased a cuticle treatment before, always skeptical of whether or not they work. I love this stuff, I would easily give it 10 stars if it weren't for the fact that if you use it with polished nails, the polish will peel off easily. My cuticles have always been an issue... constantly dry, hard and lots of hangnails no matter how much I moisturize. I spent a week with this stuff on bare nails and it works amazingly! My cuticles have never in my life looked so good and my nails turned whiter, too. I don't notice any difference in nail strength (I have the thinnest nails ever) or texture, but I've only been using it maybe a week and a half. I just wish that I didn't have to go bare to reap the rewards. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by mleud from This Stuff Works I got this in my Maven box when it was introduced. I was pretty skeptical of it at first. I used it a few times and I didn't really think much of it. I've used it on and off several times since then and I have to say, I think it actually does work quite well. For example, three days ago I had lots of hang nails and dry cracking cuticles. I started applying the serum again yesterday and I've put it on about 6 or 7 times in the last 24 hours and it's already helped quite a lot. My cuticles are softer and no new hang nails have formed and the old ones are softer too. I like putting this stuff on, let it soak in for 10 minutes, then use cuticle oil and rub that in to moisturize a little more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by CAS NYC from Want to love it...but needs fixing I really wanted this product to work out. The liquid/oil in the pen really does wonders for my cuticles without being greasy, which is an unusual attribute in cuticle treatments. But the pen is, frankly, a poor design. It took upward of 100 clicks for me to get a single drop of product the first time I used it. Now, if I store it upside down and click 40-50 times, i *might* get enough for one hand. Other times, the thing just goes on strike and stays dry. For an expensive product, that's not OK (I got this one free in the welcome box, so we'll call it a draw). Julep, please re-engineer and re-release this!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Randa92 from Interesting applicator I first got the product in January 2014 in my Julep welcome box. I saw nail&cuticle serum so I figured why not. My nails and cuticles are always in dire need. My nails are weak and my cuticles are hideous! At first using the product I wasn't sure if any oil was coming onto the brush. The only 1 half click wasn't working for me so I needed to use more than 3 clicks for sure. Once the product was coming out after turning it upside up and down, I used it on my nails twice a day and for least a week my nails did show some promising change. It takes time for results to come of course but it was reassuring the serum helped my nails. My only issue is the actual tube. Having to do the right amount of clicks and twists and turns made me feel I might have gotten a defective product when I just had to do multiple clicks and have it in certain angles just right. I'm sure the serum itself is wonderful but the brush tip and clicks is a hassle to manage and make sure the actual product comes out. I've seen in the nail 911 kit the serum has a sponge tip instead of a brush tip. Maybe the sponge tip would be more helpful. Overall the actual serum when coming out is amazing but the tube itself is tricky to use.
