Myrtle - Classic with a Twist is rated out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Katerz from Classic red for all seasons I purchased the Just For Yule Trio, and applied the Myrtle on most of my nails, and then the evergreen, Emer, on my ring fingers for a Christmas-inspired accent. Myrtle requires 2-3 coats depending on your preference (and possibly which batch you end up with). The color is a sunny red that speaks to Christmas when paired with like colors/accessories, but makes good sense in any of the four seasons because of its versatility. It could look rosy in the wintertime, lively in the spring/summer, and warm and cozy in colder weather. It isn't limited by serious overtones or undertones. It wore very well for over two weeks. My nails grow very quickly, so I changed it at about that time. The shade reminds me of those 80's/90's nail salon posters in the best way possible. Growing up, I thought this shade was what women normally reached for when painting their nails. It also reminds me of the lipstick and polish from the 1950s -- you know, "that shade." Like a polish that a Dior fashion model would have applied...truly a classic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DocsCanHaveFun from Bright tomato red creamy and thin v8 Before I purchase myrtle I spent a long time reading through all the reviews and photos and descriptions of the three or four bold red's on Julep. Oddly enough, all of the nuances I discovered with Myrtle are the same as the comments about Sheila. Most notable is the way it stains a sharpie-esque Red tint to the skin and nails when you try to remove it. And also, it is truly a ripe tomato V8 red; as with Sheila, it applies thinly and is a bit watery, but with 3 layers forms a cozy thick creme that is high gloss. It is nice. It isnt a sexy red, it is a "wise" red.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marcy from Best Red Ever! Gorgeous color, like a candy apple red. Love the formula b/c evens out pretty well. Does stain quite a bit, but it's expected from any red. Paired with Vivien and Hartleigh.
