The most classic finish. Glossy, smooth, easy to apply.

Rich, flat color. No gloss or shine whatsoever.

A matte-metallic finish with texture and and micro-glitter.

Big, easy-to-see sparkle flakes. Glitter polish is textural, for smoother, use a top coat.

The same amount of sparkle as Glitter, but smaller flakes. Best for layering over color.

For nails that twinkle. A base of color and tiny flakes of shimmer mixed into one bottle.

Also known as pearlescent. Icy-toned shine, visible brush strokes.

Tiny rainbow colored flakes in the polish. Best seen in sunlight.

This finish glistens like the inside of a sea shell.

Also called duochrome. Color changes between two or more hues depending on the angle of looking at it.

Shiny, metal-looking finish. Most popular in golds, silvers, and coppers.

A layering polish. Creates a shattered texture look when put on top of another color.

A smooth, almost mirror-like metallic shine.

What makes Julep Nail Polish so great?
Our professional chip-resistant formulation is fast drying and highly pigmented. It is a fun way to make the season’s latest shades accessible to everyone. And because we’ve tested our trend-setting toxin-free nail polish and products in over 100,000 manicures and pedicures in our parlors, we have a good idea of what works and what our clients love.

Julep nail polish is 5-free and vegan-friendly. We steer clear of formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, DBP, camphor, and animal ingredients or byproducts.

Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Stearalkonium Bentonite, Acrylates Copolymer, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Mica, Silica, Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Benzophenone-1, Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Trimethylpentanediyl Dibenzoate, Hexanal, Tin Oxide, Iron Oxide (CI 77491), Black 2 (CI 77266).

  1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.

  2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.

  3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.

  4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.

  5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

We love it with...

Nadia - It Girl is rated 4.6429 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy, light and lovely This color is so pretty and light!  It gleams with a slightly creamy glitter, which compliments the yellow perfectly.  It takes an extra coat to make it fully solid, but it's so happy I didn't mind :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous shade, but not for me! I got Nadia in my July box, and even though it's a pretty shimmery yellow it's not really my colour. It's a yolk-y yellow with a healthy dose of gold shimmer. I like that the base colour and the shimmer are so similar in colour that even though you easily notice the sparkle it's still subtle. I swatched it with four coats of polish and you could still see a bit of visible nail line - if you're gonna use this I would suggest a basecoat of solid white first. This is one of those colours that for me I think would only work if I was rocking short nails... A nice little pop of colour. So it will be staying in my stash until something happens and I have to rock nubbins again for a while. lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes me want to hit the beach! I love this color.  It is unlike any yellow I've seen before...  I like pairing this with Tracey, and layer it with Vivien.  I call it my sun & surf mani!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty Color, Better Online, Doesn't Spread Well I'm pretty happy with the color but it wasn't easy to apply as the polish didn't spread well over my nail. It takes at least two coats but make sure to allow the first coat to dry well. Perhaps that will allow the polish to look and spread better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST Yellow for a Professional Look Normally, I see yellow as an absolute no-no nail color, unless it's in tiny accents like polka dots. Then I tried on this beauty thanks to a good sale in the Secret Store. This is a warm, but not in-your-face, pale goldenrod that is neither pastel nor neon, and fairly true to its image. It looks great on its own (I recommend 2 coats), even on fair skin! (I'm very pale.). It also makes a great backdrop for nail art (though mine was attempted before I owned a plié wand so it's not exactly the best look right now). I really love this polish and looking professional when I get back from vacation is very important to me. The subdued tone in this Polish makes me think I could pull off wearing yellow for a change!
