By: Elizabeth Vincent22-Feb-2012 06:21 PM The color is gorgeous. It is a mustard yellow, but not bright like a bottle of French's. It's ever so slightly muted and it looks great on. It also looks beautiful underneath flaked or glittery top coats. That being said, I do not like the formula for
this particular color. After two coats I still had a visible nail line, the color was really streaky, and the cuticle drag is annoying. I'm pretty good at covering cuticle drag normally, but this color was not easy to fix. Of course, like I said above, it's a great base for particulate top coats, which will help even out some of the minor streaks and will detract from the other issues. I'll keep it for that reason, but I absolutely hated the way it looks alone. |
