This is VERY dark. On it looks more like a very dark brown, so I'd say "plum" more than "purple." Very thick; I had to put a drop of thinner in!

I agree...very dark. I was hoping to be able to tell that it is purple but two coats on my toenails and it is almost black. I might try some glitter over it and see if I like it better.
