Rated 2 out of 5 by ZozoSho from Very thin, matte, streaky color... I chose Addison for my April Maven Box as a bright color to wear for Easter. It took over four coats to achieve opacity; fortunately, I had the time to wait between applications. The finish also reminded me of a chalk board rather than the glossy finish of all the other creme colors I've used. That said, Addison isn't completely unusable, but its quality pales in comparison to nearly all of the other Julep polishes I own (37 bottles or so). This is the first time I've worn a yellow polish. Looking at other reviews on this site, it seems to be a difficult color for Julep to pull off. While Addison didn't stain my nails nor have any peeling/chipping issues during the brief time that I wore it, full coverage application was a time-consuming hassle that used up a quarter of the bottle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MelissaLOVESnailpolish from Pretty canary cream Addison is perfection. Gorgeous canary yellow. Easy formula to work with. I used 2 coats for complete opaque coverage but was surprised by how well just one coat covered. I was expecting more of a neon type, matte finish but this dried with a nice shine! No white base coat necessary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by indigosand from The only yellow I actually like Important to note: This IS a neon polish, with all the characteristics of a neon. It's not fully opaque or vibrant without a white base coat, and it will dry matte and be somewhat less durable than normal cream polishes without topcoat. However, it's a fantastic color. Perfectly cool lemon, zero oranginess and looks amazing against tan skin and particularly great paired with grey. This is one of my summer favorites for sure. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it is inaccurately described as a opaque cream.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KacieLo from Too thin The formula is too watery, and took several coats to stop being transparent (even over white coat). Too many coats means took to long to dry, and smudged. Disappointed compared to my other purchases.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Clawrence from Colorful but streaky Same experience everyone else seems to be having. It is a bright sunshine yellow that I love but I am just about to put my 3rd coat on. The second is still too streaky, the consistancy of the polish is very watery. Would be interesting to see if its still as bad over a white base coat.
