What makes Julep Nail Polish so great?
Our professional chip-resistant formulation is fast drying and highly pigmented. It is a fun way to make the season’s latest shades accessible to everyone. And because we’ve tested our trend-setting toxin-free nail polish and products in over 100,000 manicures and pedicures in our parlors, we have a good idea of what works and what our clients love.

Julep nail polish is 5-free and vegan-friendly. We steer clear of formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, DBP, camphor, and animal ingredients or byproducts.

  1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.

  2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.

  3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.

  4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.

  5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

We love it with...

Nina is rated 2.75 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the color and finish, but bubbles and peels I love Nina's bright mac-'n'-cheese orange and slightly sheer, matte finish, but I noticed that it began bubbling up (air bubbles appeared under the polish layer, between the nail and the polish) within hours of application/drying and flaked off within a few days. This also happened with my sister, who also tried Nina. I own dozens upon dozens of Julep polishes and have never had this happen with a Julep polish before, using the same base coat and top coat. I was disappointed with the weird durability issue, hence the 3 stars, but if not for the bubbling issue, I'd have given it 5 stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't do it It looks so nice but it goes on like thin, uneven rubber. Tangerine, easy-to-rub-off, does-not-play-with-essie-basecoat-rubber!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Color is pretty but quite sheer Two coats didn't give full coverage. And sadly it didn't look very good against my pale skin. Not for me.
