The most classic finish. Glossy, smooth, easy to apply.

Rich, flat color. No gloss or shine whatsoever.

A matte-metallic finish with texture and and micro-glitter.

Big, easy-to-see sparkle flakes. Glitter polish is textural, for smoother, use a top coat.

The same amount of sparkle as Glitter, but smaller flakes. Best for layering over color.

For nails that twinkle. A base of color and tiny flakes of shimmer mixed into one bottle.

Also known as pearlescent. Icy-toned shine, visible brush strokes.

Tiny rainbow colored flakes in the polish. Best seen in sunlight.

This finish glistens like the inside of a sea shell.

Also called duochrome. Color changes between two or more hues depending on the angle of looking at it.

Shiny, metal-looking finish. Most popular in golds, silvers, and coppers.

A layering polish. Creates a shattered texture look when put on top of another color.

A smooth, almost mirror-like metallic shine.

What makes Julep Nail Polish so great?
Our professional chip-resistant formulation is fast drying and highly pigmented. It is a fun way to make the season’s latest shades accessible to everyone. And because we’ve tested our trend-setting toxin-free nail polish and products in over 100,000 manicures and pedicures in our parlors, we have a good idea of what works and what our clients love.

Julep nail polish is 5-free and vegan-friendly. We steer clear of formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, DBP, camphor, and animal ingredients or byproducts.

Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Stearalkonium Bentonite, Acrylates Copolymer, Yellow 10 Lake (CI 47005), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Benzophenone-1, Silica, Trimethylpentanediyl Dibenzoate, Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Hexanal.

  1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.

  2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.

  3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.

  4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.

  5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous Green! I love this shade of green. It's a very true kelly green. It was a little on the sheer side for me. It took about 3 coats to get full coverage. But it's absolutely beautiful. If you are a green lover, you'll love this color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Colour! Not sure why the other reviewer blamed the nail polish for the staining. It's pretty common knowledge that if you use a base coat, your nails won't get stained. Also, buffing your nails between polish colours will help remove any slight staining you do have if you don't use a base coat. I used this polish without anything underneath, wore it for about 3-4 days and my nails were absolutely not stained. Went on opaque in 2 coats. Very pleased with every Julep polish I have used thus far!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Color is not as bold as on screen The green is a little more pale and not as bold as the color appears online. I used 2 coats and still did not get the bold/deep color shown.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Skip This One! I let my roommate borrow this polish, and she used a very thin base coat underneath. After taking it off a few days later, her nails were HORRIBLY stained! I was hesitant to use it myself but couldn't pass it up for St. Paddy's day. I used a much thicker base coat and thought I took all the necessary precautions, and my nails are STILL stained! It's ridiculous. I understand that staining is always a risk with vibrant colors, but this is insane. It's not even a dark or thick polish. I've never had this problem with any other nail colors, Julep or otherwise. There's clearly something wrong with the formula, and you guys need to STOP selling it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Discolours fingers, pretty This is a really pretty colour! BUT it discolours your fingers and stains them a lot. You can buff and wash it out, but it's a really pain. Needs a lot of coats.
