The most classic finish. Glossy, smooth, easy to apply.

Rich, flat color. No gloss or shine whatsoever.

A matte-metallic finish with texture and and micro-glitter.

Big, easy-to-see sparkle flakes. Glitter polish is textural, for smoother, use a top coat.

The same amount of sparkle as Glitter, but smaller flakes. Best for layering over color.

For nails that twinkle. A base of color and tiny flakes of shimmer mixed into one bottle.

Also known as pearlescent. Icy-toned shine, visible brush strokes.

Tiny rainbow colored flakes in the polish. Best seen in sunlight.

This finish glistens like the inside of a sea shell.

Also called duochrome. Color changes between two or more hues depending on the angle of looking at it.

Shiny, metal-looking finish. Most popular in golds, silvers, and coppers.

A layering polish. Creates a shattered texture look when put on top of another color.

A smooth, almost mirror-like metallic shine.

What makes Julep Nail Polish so great?
Our professional chip-resistant formulation is fast drying and highly pigmented. It is a fun way to make the season’s latest shades accessible to everyone. And because we’ve tested our trend-setting toxin-free nail polish and products in over 100,000 manicures and pedicures in our parlors, we have a good idea of what works and what our clients love.

Julep nail polish is 5-free and vegan-friendly. We steer clear of formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, DBP, camphor, and animal ingredients or byproducts.

Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Stearalkonium Bentonite, Acrylates Copolymer, Yellow 10 Lake (CI 47005), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Benzophenone-1, Silica, Trimethylpentanediyl Dibenzoate, Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Hexanal.

  1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.

  2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.

  3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.

  4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.

  5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

We love it with...

Payton - Bombshell is rated 2.96 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous Green! I love this shade of green. It's a very true kelly green. It was a little on the sheer side for me. It took about 3 coats to get full coverage. But it's absolutely beautiful. If you are a green lover, you'll love this color!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent color This is far and away my favorite julep polish. It applies evenly, has a great finish, and the color is so cheery. I haven't had any of the problems with staining that other reviewers have mentioned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bright Grass Green Payton is  a bright grass green.  A little brighter than a traditional kelly green (which I like). It is a creme polish.  1 coat can be a little streaky / uneven.  2 coats and the color was even. Great color for spring, summer or anytime you want a bright pop of green.  I use a base coat and had no issues with staining or removal.  It's just a bit darker than Leah and it doesn't have shimmer.  I really like it the color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning I've only used this polish a few times, but I am absolutely in love. It does stain a little, but not an issue for me since I switch nail colors almost daily. Excellent for all times of year, but I'm especially excited to include it in Christmas oriented nail art. It also strikes me as a very 60's kind of color and am excited to do white/lace looking nail art on it. Amazing color and hope it stays around forever, and I ope others give it another chance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from nice color I really love the color and the fact that its not such a opaque color, but my nails have been stained since using it. I used the oxygen base coat julep has, like everyone claims prevents staining yet it still happened. Be cautious of ordering this one.
