POLISH FINISHES

Crème

The most classic finish. Glossy, smooth, easy to apply.

Matte

Rich, flat color. No gloss or shine whatsoever.

Suede

A matte-metallic finish with texture and and micro-glitter.

Glitter

Big, easy-to-see sparkle flakes. Glitter polish is textural, for smoother, use a top coat.

Micro-glitter

The same amount of sparkle as Glitter, but smaller flakes. Best for layering over color.

Shimmer

For nails that twinkle. A base of color and tiny flakes of shimmer mixed into one bottle.

Frost

Also known as pearlescent. Icy-toned shine, visible brush strokes.

Holographic

Tiny rainbow colored flakes in the polish. Best seen in sunlight.

Opalescent

This finish glistens like the inside of a sea shell.

Molten

Also called duochrome. Color changes between two or more hues depending on the angle of looking at it.

Metallic

Shiny, metal-looking finish. Most popular in golds, silvers, and coppers.

Crackle

A layering polish. Creates a shattered texture look when put on top of another color.

Chrome

A smooth, almost mirror-like metallic shine.

What it is:
Breakthrough Oxygen Technology powers this fast-drying, long-lasting nail polish to get nails healthy and more beautiful at the same time. Our proprietary 5-free, vegan-friendly formula also includes strengthening Hexanal and antioxidant green coffee extract. You'll never look at nail polish the same way again.

What it does:
  • Dries ultra fast & allows 30% more oxygen to permeate the nail bed than other nail polish
  • Reveals stronger, harder & more conditioned nails in just two weeks (reported by 95% of women in an independent trial)
  • Extends the life of your manicure or pedicure
  • Julep nail polish is 5-free and vegan-friendly. We steer clear of formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, DBP, camphor, and animal ingredients or byproducts.

Butyl Acetate, Ethyl Acetate, Nitrocellulose, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isopropyl Alcohol, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Stearalkonium Bentonite, Acrylates Copolymer, Silica, Aluminum Powder (CI 77000), Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Silver (CI 77820), Benzophenone-1, Trimethylpentanediyl Dibenzoate, Hexanal, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Coffea Robusta Seed Extract

    1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.

    2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.

    3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.

    4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.

    5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

    We love it with...

Phia - It Girl is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly as pictured The color is exactly as it looks on the models. One thin coat is very sheer and lovely with a hint of orchid and tons of shimmer, not too much sparkle. Two coats bring out more of the metallic purple tone of the orchid. In the light are subtle little glints, not a ton of sparkle but just a hint. If your office isn't super conservative you could wear it to work. Tried one thin coat over Bergen and it almost looked like Blakely. Two coats & Bergen disappears but Phia a little bit deeper. I think it's beautiful but I love purples and orchid is very "in" right now. I have light skin, blue eyes and very short nails and I think it looks wonderful on me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised wanted a nice purple for summer - online this looked pretty in the bottle, but i wasn't sure about on the nail...comes in the mail...LOVE IT. One coat is too sheer, but two coats is good or get 2 lazy manicures by using savoy for a couple days & then paint a coat of phia over top - color really pops, covers savoy, and in some lighting looks duo-chromish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from most complimented I got this color for fun wanting a violet color. I have close to 100 Julep colors as a maven and Sephora Rouge. I had surgery recently so there was a lots of direct attention on my hands and every nurse complimented and asked the color, it was perfect match for their colors, even the socks they give you are purple. After pulling a few bottles out and asking my husband what color, he picked Phia so I wore it again not at the hospital, lol and I got complimented by cashiers, standing inline, etc. It's a really pretty subtle color with stardust finish which I do top with a shiny clear coat since I prefer shine. If this happens to anyone else I would be interested to hear about it here. Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shimmery Orchid I was sort of surprised that Julep June collection was dark metallics. They seemed more fitting for late summer or Fall. I chose this one because it was lighter and orchid, the color of the year. It is really pretty and looks like the swatches. I used two coats to get even full overage but I am a light polisher so someone who uses thicker coats may only need one. It is really lovely and I am happy this was one of my choices!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light Sparkly Purple Greatness! I love this polish. I only used it as an accent color on my ring fingers. I used Logan on all of the others and it really went well with each other. I'm 39, so I like to do some of the trendy things without looking like I'm trying too hard. :) I put on three coats just because I wanted it really sparkly. You could probably get away with two coats. I love it!
