There are two ways to earn rewards as a Maven. You're probably already earning Jules (reward points), because we award Jules to our Mavens with every shipped box, as well as on special occasions like your Maven anniversary and birthday. You can also earn rewards by spreading the word about Julep Maven to your friends and family through our Refer-A-Friend Program. Each time someone uses your referral link to join Maven, we’ll send you a $15 reward code to enjoy on julep.com.

  • How do I invite friends to become Mavens?

    It's easy! Just click here to get to the Refer-A-Friend experience and then you can start sharing. There are four ways to share Maven - email, Facebook, Twitter, and your personal link. Each time someone you refer joins Maven, we’ll send you a $15 reward code to enjoy on julep.com!

  • I referred my friends, now what?

    Your friends will click on your referral, claim their free box and become a Maven! Once your friends becomes a Maven, we’ll send your $15 reward code via email within one week.

  • How does my friend redeem his or her free box?

    After you invite your friends to join Maven, they will need to click on your referral link (in the email, in a Facebook or Twitter post, or your personal sharing link) and they will be presented with a special promo code on the landing page. They must copy that special code and paste it in the 'Promo code' box at checkout.

  • How do I redeem by $15 reward?

    You can redeem your $15 reward code on julep.com purchases, excluding the Jule Box, Savvy Deals, Secret Store, Sweet Steals, and the Monthly Maven Reveal.

  • Can I refer anyone?

    Yes, you can refer whoever you'd like - as long as it's not yourself! Remember, you will only earn referral rewards for friends that sign up for Maven for the first time and they must sign up through your referral link.

  • Who is Extole?

    Extole is a social marketing company that we have partnered with to manage the Refer-A-Friend Program.

  • I haven't received my reward. What should I do?

    It may take up to one week to receive your referral reward. If it's been a week since your friend signed up for Maven and you still haven't received your reward (and you have checked your Junk Mail folder in your email account), please send an email our support team at maven@julep.com and include the following information:

    • The email address you used to refer your friend.
    • Your friend's First and Last name and their email address.
    • Your friend's order number if available.

  • Is there a limit to the number of rewards I can earn?

    Yes. Program advocates will be able to earn a maximum of 40 referral rewards per calendar year, or $600 in referral rewards.

Jules Points FAQs

  • How do I earn Jules, and what can I do with them?

    You’ll earn Jules (rewards points) each time you get a monthly Maven Box, and on special occasions. You can redeem your Jules for new Maven Boxes, add-ons, and upgrades.

    EARNING JULES: You’ll get 100 Jules when you join Maven, 300 Jules each time you get a Maven Box, 350 for each My Maven Box, 550 for each Maven Luxe Box, 650 for each Polish Lover Upgrade, 1,000 for each Ultimate Upgrade, 200 Jules on your birthday, and 500 Jules during your anniversary month. For Specialty Boxes, you will receive 300-650 Jules, depending on the specific box.

    USING JULES: Redeem 2,000 Jules for a Maven or My Maven Box, 4,000 Jules for a Maven Luxe Box, 5,000 Jules for a Polish Lover’s Upgrade, and 7,500 Jules for an Ultimate Upgrade.

  • Can I pay for part of my Maven Box with Jules?

    You can only apply your Jules toward a Maven Box if you have enough Jules for the whole box (typically, 2000). The same is true for add-ons and upgrades (you can apply Jules once you have enough Jules for one item).

  • Do I earn Jules when I am redeeming Jules for other items?

    No, you must use a credit card or julep.com gift card to earn Jules.

  • What happens to my Jules if I cancel my Maven subscription?

    If you cancel your Maven subscription you will forfeit your Jules.

  • Can I gift my Jules to a friend?

    Unfortunately Jules are non-transferable.
