POLISH FINISHES

Crème

The most classic finish. Glossy, smooth, easy to apply.

Matte

Rich, flat color. No gloss or shine whatsoever.

Suede

A matte-metallic finish with texture and and micro-glitter.

Glitter

Big, easy-to-see sparkle flakes. Glitter polish is textural, for smoother, use a top coat.

Micro-glitter

The same amount of sparkle as Glitter, but smaller flakes. Best for layering over color.

Shimmer

For nails that twinkle. A base of color and tiny flakes of shimmer mixed into one bottle.

Frost

Also known as pearlescent. Icy-toned shine, visible brush strokes.

Holographic

Tiny rainbow colored flakes in the polish. Best seen in sunlight.

Opalescent

This finish glistens like the inside of a sea shell.

Molten

Also called duochrome. Color changes between two or more hues depending on the angle of looking at it.

Metallic

Shiny, metal-looking finish. Most popular in golds, silvers, and coppers.

Crackle

A layering polish. Creates a shattered texture look when put on top of another color.

Chrome

A smooth, almost mirror-like metallic shine.

  1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.

  2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.

  3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.

  4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.

  5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never seen a color this gorgeous before! I bought this color a few months ago as an add-on for my welcome box in Jan.2014 and I LOVE IT. Perfect for the upcoming spring and summer type of color. It's definitely different from other kinds of orange polishes  I've seen and used before. It's on the sheer side but 2 coats and you're golden. 3 coats would make it too thick and cakey. This polish is sheer , yet has light chrome feel to it with a hint of light shimmer in it as well. It's sheer so you can build on it however you like. The swatch posted online doesn't do it justice but I highly recommend if you want try a nice Popsicle type of orange great for this spring season! : )

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Creamsicle Shimmer This is the creamy orange color of a creamsicle or cantaloupe with a shimmer finish.  It is on the sheer side but 2 coats gives enough coverage for me.  The picture in the bottle is closer to the color in person.  The swatch picture is much more mustard looking than the polish in person.  I can't wait for some spring & summer weather to wear it.  It's really pretty and I think it would work with all skin tones and would be great for fingers or toes.
