Serena - Sapphire for September - Birthstone is rated out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by therealvrex from Lovely colour, but... While this polish is absolutely gorgeous, and does fit the description of "glitter topper" like Julep states, I wish it had the same full coverage formula like some of the other birthstones (May, July, etc.). Still a beautiful polish.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Torilani from Disappointed in coverage. I know it says "top coat" but I was expecting the coverage shown in the pictures. Definitely not the case. I used 3 coats and still wasn't impressed. Sad! I really wanted my birthday nails to be awesome. Someone on IG suggested to use it on top of Julep Lacey. Next time I'll do that. I'd recommend someone looking for a blue glitter but not as a normal full coverage polish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Samsquish from Sparkling blue A beautiful sparklingly sapphire blue glitter polish. I adore it, but with two coats I still did not have full coverage. The next time I did a dark blue base polish and two layers of Serena, and it was stunning for five days.

Rated 3 out of 5 by beachpuppy from Love the color, disappointed in the coverage Julep describes this polish as a glitter top coat but I too was expecting the coverage shown in the pictures. I used 3 coats and still didn’t have the coverage as shown in picture. Very disappointed! This is my birthday color and I was so excited, I wish it had the same full coverage formula that some of the other birthstone (i.e. May, July) colors have. I would suggest picking a blue polish and using it as an undercoat to get a look like what is shown on the product page. I would recommend this due to the gorgeous color of the glitter but would be very clear in the recommendation to say it was only a top coat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by vmandrews from Better with base color Love the shine, but being a "top coat", it doesn't cover as well as a regular polish. It still also needs a top coat to hold the sparkle once dry
