However, it's hard to get past the smell. After cleansing and swiping on the toner, the smell of it makes me nauseated. I have to wash my face again to get it off. The product as far as I can tell has no added fragrance, so it must be the natural aroma of the ingredients. I haven't used a product before with mandelic acid so I'm unsure if this is the source. Could someone from Julep reply if it should have a strange smell? Could this have been a bad batch?

I can tell this is well made and the pump feature is genius. A star for the packaging features (flip top, pump dispensing) and a star for the toner doing what it should do (removing any residue left from cleansing). TBD on if my pores will improve since I don't use it very regularly because of the smell.
