Rated 2 out of 5 by GJUT from Dot your I's but wont cross your T's Dotting tool works great, I just need a steadier hand. My striping tool is fraying, and will not produce a decent clean line at all. I'm really disappointed int he quality of it and worry that like many have said, it will "melt" when I go to clean it to use a different color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by shutterblog from Don't get messy or you'll ruin the caps I love my Plié Wand and wanted this kit to go with it. The striping brush is "ok" and makes a decent enough line. The actual fibers of the brush can be hard to clean but it's manageable. The dotting tool should come in two sizes as most others do - but it does not. The worst feature, however, is the plastic the materials they are made with. I always use a non-acetone polish remover to clean my brushes, and even with Julep's "gentle" conditioning polish remover, it ate the finishes on my caps. I only had them exposed to the remover long enough to wipe off excess polish that had dripped, but that was enough. Two of my caps (striping tool and precision brush) became so gummy I ended up tossing them. I'll buy replacements. You would think for a product dealing with nail polish, they could have designed them to be at least somewhat remover-safe - especially when non-acetone polishes are being used.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kayla87 from Cheap quality for the price I was really excited to recieve this maven box. When I opened the creativity kit and tried it out the line brush was so cheap it did not want to apply to my nail correctly, the plastic was too stiff! Who pay 8 bucks for a worthless peice of plastic

Rated 3 out of 5 by sohoskirt from great dots, bad line The dotting tool is great. It does take practice, but then it's just ace. The line tool is lacking, however, in both design & quality in my opinion. Mine was as if it's several fibers that are glued together at both ends (the handle end and the tip if you will) but loose in the middle, and my results are what you'd expect with a brush like that - inconsistently thick & thin.
