Pink flamingo crème

What it is

Breathable nail color—Color Treat is no ordinary nail polish.

Color description:
Pink flamingo crème

What it is:
Breakthrough Oxygen Technology powers this fast-drying, long-lasting nail polish to get nails healthy and more beautiful at the same time. Our proprietary 5-free, vegan-friendly formula also includes strengthening Hexanal and antioxidant green coffee extract. You'll never look at nail polish the same way again.

What it does:
  • Dries ultra fast & allows 30% more oxygen to permeate the nail bed than other nail polish
  • Reveals stronger, harder & more conditioned nails in just two weeks (reported by 95% of women in an independent trial)
  • Extends the life of your manicure or pedicure
  • Why we love it

    1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.

    2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.

    3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.

    4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.

    5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cute color, bad formulation Yes the color is kind of bright, but I find it fun! The disappointment is with the formulation. When I first applied the polish it was thick and goopy. It streaked terribly. I added a couple drops of lacquer thinner and that helped greatly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Color But Bad Formula The color is a bit bright but very pretty. But the formula of this polish is bad. It is very gooey and hard to apply. My manicurist had a hard time applying the polish and making it look great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love pink! I love all things pink and when I saw this polish, I had to have it immediately. It is a VERY bright, vibrant and loud pink. Swatch on the site is definitely off. The people who are saying the formula is bad must have gotten duds ): because mine has been flawless as far as application and coverage go. It's a gorgeous polish, just know that the color you are going to get is different than what is shown here.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Color! Slightly frustrating formula... I'm a sucker for bright pink shades and this one is fantastic. A warm-toned bright pink, "flamingo" is the perfect description of the color. The formula, though, like others have said, is initially kind of thick and stringy, and not self-leveling on application--definitely not what I expect from Julep! I put a few drops of polish thinner in after I used it so hopefully it will be better next time. However, it is bubbling pretty severely because I had to double up on top coat to get the polish to look level and not lumpy. I don't mind using thinner for old polish that is getting thick due to age and use, but it would seem that for such a high-end polish, one should not have to use thinner before the first use. Summary: the color is great; formula leaves a bit to be desired.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Much too thick for a flat application. The color is beautiful, but this polish is one to pass on. This polish is gross, it's far too thick. To top it off it goes on streaky so you need two coats which makes this polish even worse. I would suggest passing on this color and trying another color.
