Best Beauty Looks from the MTV Movie Awards

The stars showed off lots of stunning spring beauty at last night’s 2014 MTV Movie Awards—and we’re not just talking about shirtless Zac Efron.

Here are the looks we loved most—and can’t wait to mimic on ourselves!—from the MTV Movie Awards red carpet:

Nicki Minaj:

Taking a departure from her usual candy-coated color scheme, Minaj looked sleek and sultry in a black body-con dress and bold gold jewelry, which she accented perfectly with defined brows, a neutral lip, and—for a fabulous focal point—a wide, winged-out cat-eye.

Shailene Woodley:

The Divergent star went for a low-key look with her makeup, wearing a berry-stained lip, luminous skin, and a neutral eye defined with brown eyeliner.

Kat Graham:

The Vampire Diaries star demonstrated why one of spring’s biggest and best trends is a bold orange lip. Orange nails and a smokey eye with lots of lashes rounded out her glamorous look.

Lupita Nyong’o:

The Oscar-winning it girl worked her uniquely embellished Chanel gown, and went full-out in the beauty department as well, showcasing a graphic blue metallic eye and rosy lips.

Rita Ora:

Talk about glamorous! The British beauty wore a plunging black dress that she paired with a perfectly defined matte red lip and cascading blonde locks.

Holland Roden:

The Teen Wolf actress wore a simply gorgeous look that we plan to steal over and over this spring: a slicked-back pony, bronzed skin, and a brighter-than-bright hot pink lip.

Victoria Justice:

The Nickelodeon starlet matched her lipstick to her lilac frock, and finished it off with frosty eyeshadow and a sleek ponytail with a deep side part. Youthful and defined, this look would be perfect for a spring night out with the girls.

Karina Smirnoff:

The Dancing with the Stars beauty wore an absolutely stunning matte tangerine lip and paired it with long, flirty lashes, dangling diamond earrings, and a relaxed up-do.

Grumpy Cat:

We couldn’t resist including the internet’s favorite feline, who showed up with her owner (or is that his agent?) sporting a Pharrell-inspired hat and her signature scowl. Because beauty isn’t just about products; it’s also about personality. And that’s one thing that Grumpy Cat has a lifetime supply of.
