Friday Fun: Kristen Bell Sings ‘Snowman’ in All 3 Anna Voices

It’s Friday! Ready for a little pick-me-up?

This performance by Kristen Bell at Los Angeles’ Vibrato Grill Jazz Club happened in February, but it just went viral today—and when you watch it, you’ll see why. The Frozen star sings the first song of the film, “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?”, as all three ages of her character, Anna: a child, a teenager, and a young woman.

Before she sings, Kristen also shares a sentiment we love: that she had wanted to be a Disney princess since she was 5 years old, but what made Frozen even more special was that she was “able to shape a type of heroine that I wanted to see, that I would have identified with when I was five.” If you haven’t seen Frozen yet, definitely add it to your queue. Bell’s character Anna is spunky, funny, and, as you can see in the performance below, full of emotions beyond wanting to find her Prince Charming. The film’s story of sisterly love makes it a must-see in our books.

Watch Kristen’s heartwarming performance—and happy Friday!
