  • How do I become a Julep Maven?

    Take the Beauty Quiz, and choose your subscription type.

  • What comes in each monthly beauty box?

    Each Julep Beauty Box includes over $40 worth of new beauty, skincare and/or limited-run nail colors. Each Maven Luxe Box includes over $60 worth of beauty products.

    All subscribers have the options to customize their beauty box between the 20th-24th of each month by picking exactly what they want, upgrade to a curated box, and/or select add on products at an exclusive Maven-only price.

    Make sure to log in between the 20th-24th of each month to select and save your beauty box. In rare cases product substitutions may apply due to limited quantities.

  • When and how do I preview each monthly collection?

    The Julep Beauty Box Reveal takes place from the 20th-24th of each month. We'll always start you off with our picks for you. During the Reveal, you can log into your account and make changes, or just leave it up to us to curate your next beauty faves based on your Beauty Bio.

  • How do I customize my monthly beauty box?

    Log in to 'My Account' during the Julep Beauty Box Reveal (20th-24th of every month) to view the latest collection. Start with the box we curate for you and swap items in and out to create the box of your dreams. Don't forget to hit 'Save'! We'll also send you an email confirmation of your saved changed to your beauty box.

  • Can I order items from previous months?

    Yes, new products and polish featured in monthly beauty boxes will be offered on julep.com shortly after the Reveal closes. Quantities are limited, so act fast if something special catches your eye! Browse our past collections now.

  • Can I send my box to someone else?

    Yes. Every Julep Beauty Box comes beautifully packaged and ready to gift. If you'd like to send your box to someone else, log in to 'My Account' on julep.com during the Reveal (20th-24th of every month) and select 'Send to a Friend'.

  • What is a Beauty Bio and how do I change mine?

    We curate five new boxes every month, each one featuring colors and/or products tailored to your Beauty Bio. You can take your default beauty box, try a new one, or customize it as much as you'd like. By having a default Beauty Bio, even if you don't preview your box, we can surprise you with picks that are tailored to your personal taste.

    If you need assistance in updating your Beauty Bio, don't hesitate to contact our Julep Beauty Advisors and they would be happy to assist you.

Subscription

  • What are my subscription options?

    We have two subscription tiers: My Maven and Maven Luxe.

    With My Maven, you'll get $40+ worth of polish & product for $24.99/month, or $19.99/month with a three-month prepaid subscription. Each Julep Beauty Box is completely customizable.

    With Maven Luxe, you'll get $60+ worth of prestige products for $39.99/month, or $34.99/month with a three-month prepaid subscription. Each Julep Beauty Box is completely customizable.

    Both subscriptions include the option to "send to a friend," skip the month, or cancel at any time. Remember: you can switch to and from a prepaid subscription anytime. Just contact our Julep Beauty Advisors and they would be happy to assist you.

  • How do I switch subscription tiers?

    If you would like to switch from My Maven to Maven Luxe, please contact our Julep Beauty Advisors (877-651-3292 or maven@julep.com).

    If you have a prepaid subscription and would like to switch to a monthly billing cycle, please contact our Julep Beauty Advisors (877-651-3292 or maven@julep.com).

  • What's the Secret Store?

    The Secret Store is a monthly online pop-up shop where Mavens can score exclusive, limited-time deals. We’ll email you when it opens, usually a few days after monthly beauty boxes start shipping. Once the Secret Store is open, you can also access it from your ‘My Account’ page.

  • What if I need to skip a month?

    No problem! Just log in to 'My Account' during the Reveal (20th –24th of every month) and select "Edit My Box”. Select “Edit Your Details” (at the bottom of the screen). On this page, you can select the option to “Skip this month”. We won't send you a box, and you won't be charged. You can take advantage of this benefit as many times as you want.

  • How do I cancel my subscription?

    We're so sad to see you go! To cancel, please call or email our Julep Beauty Advisors (877-651-3292 or maven@julep.com). You must cancel by midnight of the 24th in order to not be billed for this month's beauty box. But remember, you always have the option to skip a month.

  • How do I reactivate my subscription?

    Simply email maven@julep.com or give our Julep Beauty Advisors a call at 877-651-3292 and we will be happy to process your request.

Billing

  • How do I update my payment information on file?

    Just log in to ‘My Account’, select ‘Billing Information’, and choose ‘Add Credit Card’, 'Add PayPal', or ‘Edit.’

  • What forms of payment can I use for my monthly Maven box?

    We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal. Apple Pay is not currently accepted as a payment method for subscription orders, including orders containing a Welcome Box. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept checks, money orders, and prepaid cards.

  • What if I have purchased a prepaid subscription?

    At the end of your prepaid period (3, 6, or 12 months depending on the plan you selected), your subscription will be renewed automatically for the same period of time. You can still skip any month.

    We are unable to offer prepaid subscriptions to our Canadian Mavens.

  • What is the monthly cost for being a Maven?

    We have two subscription tiers: My Maven and Maven Luxe.

  • When will I be charged?

    If you sign up before the 19th of the month, you will be charged on the 27th for the next month's box. If you sign up on or after the 19th of the month, you will be charged on the 27th of the following month.

    Please note: if your payment method does not process payment successfully on the 27th, we will continue to try to process your payment a few more times.

  • Does Julep charge sales tax?

    Orders shipped to the states of Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and Washington will be charged sales tax.

  • Can I track my order?

    You'll receive an email with tracking information as soon as your box has shipped.

  • How much does shipping cost?

    U.S. Standard shipping is always free for Mavens. Standard shipping for all orders shipped to Canada is $4.99.

  • When can I expect my Julep Beauty Box to arrive?

    Monthly beauty boxes start shipping on the 27th of each month. We continue to ship out boxes for the next couple weeks. Tracking information will be sent when your monthly beauty box is on its way. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for your box to arrive. Please note: if your shipping address is outside of the continental United States, your box may take longer to arrive.

  • Where does Julep ship?

    We currently ship to the United States, United States Minor Outlying Islands, and Canada. We hope to be expanding soon!

  • What is your return policy?

    Whether you're using one of our products, or opening your monthly beauty box – we always want you to feel great about your Julep experience. Nothing means more to us than making sure you're happy with the products you’ve received.

Jules

  • What are Jules and how do I earn them?

    Jules are Julep reward points and you'll earn them on your monthly beauty box purchases, plus special occasions like your Julep anniversary. All other purchases from julep.com are not eligible to receive Jules.

    Receive 100 Jules when you join Julep Beauty Box; 350 Jules when you take your monthly beauty box; 600 Jules for each monthly luxe box; and 500 Jules during your Maven anniversary month. You'll also receive Jules for box upgrades and specialty boxes, depending on the value of the upgrade and/or box.

  • What can I do with my Jules?

    Redeem Jules for new beauty boxes, add-ons and upgrades, plus use your Jules to shop in the Jule Box section of julep.com anytime. Get a free monthly beauty box with just 2,000 Jules, and a monthly luxe box with 4,000 Jules. Plus use Jules for box upgrades and specialty boxes (varies by value of the upgrade and/or box).

  • How do I redeem my Jules during the Maven Reveal?

    Login to ‘My Account' during the Maven Reveal (20th-24th each month) and begin customizing your box through ‘Edit My Box.' After picking your box and add-ons, select ‘Apply Jules' on the same page where you confirm your information before saving your selections. Check your confirmation email to verify that Jules were applied to your order.

  • What's the Jule Box and how does it work?

    The Jule Box section of our site is where Mavens can use their Jules anytime to make purchases. Once you've found an item you want, select the Jules price from the drop down menu. A slider will appear—simply click the + button to apply your Jules, then add the item to your cart. (Make sure your Jules have been applied to your total before checking out.)

  • Can I use Jules to pay for just part of my beauty box?

    No, you must have enough Jules to cover the entire box. The same is true for beauty box add-ons and upgrades.

  • Do I earn Jules when I redeem Jules for other items?

    Yes, you'll earn Jules when purchasing your monthly beauty box; however, you won't earn Jules on any other items purchased with Jules.

  • What happens to my Jules if I cancel my subscription?

    Jules will be forfeited if you cancel your beauty box subscription.

  • Can I gift my Jules to a friend?

    No, Jules are non-transferable.
