Rated 1 out of 5 by from Breakout Gel I really wanted to love this since it goes on clear (unlike other SPF products that leave a white film) on top of skin. Unfortunately, after using it for two consecutive days, I broke out bad. I have not broken out for years! It's such a waste.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Three big problems with this product I wear sunscreen almost every day, so I am always happy to try different brands and formulations. I got this as a promotional offer. I find three problems with it: (1) The name is incorrect - this sunscreen is NOT invisible. It does not dry to a "satin finish" as claimed. It dries to a high-gloss shiny finish that doesn't go away. You therefore have to put translucent powder over it to get rid of the shine. (2) The formula. Apparently, Julep is not sure what they put in it. The ingredients list has a sticker covering it up that lists different ingredients. Seriously, you didn't know what was in it when you gave the text to the packaging designer? Not convincing. (3) The price per ounce is ridiculous. Selling a one-ounce bottle of sunscreen is ridiculous enough. But for this price, I expect 12 (twelve) ounces of sunscreen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from bigger bottle A 1.06 oz, 30 mL bootle is very small, and I´m not from USA, so sometimes is very complicated to buy the product. It will be great a 150mL or 200mL bootle, since it is an exc! product!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Weird consistency and greasy! I have combination dehydrated skin and I use sunscreen daily. While I have my go-to favorites, I'm always willing to check a new sunscreen out, just in case a favorite gets discontinued or reformulated. Sadly, the No Excuses will definitely not be repurchased unless it gets some massive reformulation. First off, the sunscreen comes out of the tube as a pinkish chunky gel with a bit of oily substance. I've never used a sunscreen that had such a strange consistency. It is really off-putting to see and feel small gel-like chunks. The gel chunks disappear when the sunscreen is applied to your face and it does sink into my skin pretty quickly. However, the massive NO is the greasiness it adds to my face. My glasses kept slipping off my nose! When I checked the arms of my glasses, they looked lubed up with Vaseline. I just felt shiny and greasy all day. Value wise, this sunscreen is awful at full price. The tube is so tiny - only 1oz. I am used to using about a 1/4 teaspoon of sunscreen on my face but this pricing is pretty ridiculous for a poor formulation. One of my favorite sunscreens works out to be about $16/oz and I thought THAT was pricey. Sorry Julep, this sunscreen is an absolute bust for me. There are No Excuses for this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wanted to love this, but my skin doesn't :-( I purchased this item in late summer because I needed to add sun protection to my daily routine. I used to use a moisturizer with SPF, but stopped because I noticed it made my face itch and feel slightly inflamed. I switched moisturizers thinking it was that product. Fast forward to No Excuses... the first day I used it I had the same issue! I guess there is something in the SPF that I am allergic to. So sad, because it is a great concept and felt good at application. Works well under makeup, too.
