Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Perfect Meet me start by saying that I am a brown skinned American women. I’ve never been afraid of the sun and instead purposefully sit in the sun to deepen my skin tone and increase my glow. However I have started using AHA/BHA/Vitamin C products and must wear sunscreen on my face to protect my skin. I used a few sunscreens but most of them left me with extra oily skin that caused whiteheads the next day. I tried other sunscreens but those left me dry and pasty. It wasn’t a white cast, I looked like I got hit with a bag of flour every two hours at work. But at least it didn’t break me out, right? Lol. So in steps Julep. I stopped buying polish because I have TONS now (I gave away or tossed at least 100 bottles to bring my stash down. I still have at least half of it left and now I only get gel manicures so *shrugs*) so I looked into the skincare. When I saw the sunscreen I did some swapping in my box and tried it out immediately. I love it! It has a very odd texture coming out of the bottle that is familiar but I can’t put my finger on. If you look at it in the light you’ll notice it has tiny sparkles. Adorbs. And it feels great to apply. It expires QUICKLY. But that won’t matter because the postage stamp of a bottle insures that you’ll need a new one every month. So it looks like my Maven box will only be spent on sunscreen for the rest of they year because purchasing this product outside of the Maven window is not at all affordable (for me at least). Which is why I’ve deducted a star. $20/month on sunscreen means this is the most expensive product in my arsenal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love!!! i've been using this gel for about a year now and i'm so glad i finally found a sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast on my skin. i also love that it contains nourishing rosehip and camellia oil. goes on smooth and clear, works great as a primer before makeup, and i haven't experienced any breakouts from the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my favorite sunscreen! This is sooo easy to use and very light so it wouldnt break you out (my skin is pretty sensitive). I brought this to vacation with me and I used it everyday and my skin is definitely lighter than my body (where I am not as good in putting sunscreen). I am already on my second bottle and I will for sure keep using this

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does Well I gave this product to my friend as I don't usually wear sunscreen. She came back one day very burnt (she was basically a cooked lobster) every where but her face! She had went on a short lake cruise and only used this sunscreen on her face. I was really surprised to hear that it worked so well.
